The NLGD Foundation is a European platform for the Dutch game industry. Its goals are:
• improving the image of the games industry by proving the social value of gaming;
• improving the financial climate regarding creative activity;
• offering an international stage for Dutch and European games professionals.
The NLGD foundation tries to reach its goals through various ways, such as the NLGD Updates, the NLGD website and the yearly event the Festival of Games
The Festival of Games is the place where entrepreneurs from the games industry, scientists, game developers, students and policy makers meet each other. The Festival shows the important role of entertainment games as well as serious games in nowadays society.
This year the Festival of Games will take place June 14-22 in the center of Utrecht.
